Lynn's journey into woodworking began in 1998 when he discovered his passion for creating beautiful, functional pieces from raw lumber. What started as a weekend hobby quickly evolved into a calling that would define his professional life.
After completing his apprenticeship under master craftsman Robert Hayes in Oak Park, Lynn spent years perfecting his techniques across various woodworking disciplines. From fine furniture making to architectural millwork, each project became a learning opportunity to refine his skills.
In 2003, Lynn established his independent practice, focusing on custom residential projects throughout the Chicago metropolitan area. His reputation for quality craftsmanship and attention to detail quickly spread through word-of-mouth referrals.
Today, Lynn Benson Woodworking represents the culmination of over 25 years of dedication to the craft, combining traditional techniques with modern precision to deliver exceptional results for every client.
